Snowpiercer Magazine Spread

The main challenge was to create a magazine that did not look like a teenage magazine but one for those in their 20s who love sci-fi. All the content put inside the magazine are sci-fi related. I wanted the layout to be unique, so I used this big image inside a trapezoid like shape. This immediately catches the reader’s attention and draws them into this shape of the train. As you continue the article there are captions as well as images of the show. In conclusion, this spread uses negative space to create contrast and help with the movement of the spreads.
